Visit to the Alhambra, generalife... Guided visit of 3 hours that was short. I had made three times this tour on my own and so if it's worth it. Our guide Lucia a charm and you makes it happen great. My 10 year old daughter really enjoyed it. We will repeat without doubts.
Everything was very good, the guide exceptional. Thank you
We had a magnificent and very personal visit with our guide. The children became very involved in the stories and anecdotes that our guide told. The 3 and a half hour visit flew by.
The private Alhambra and Generalife tour is one of the best ways to experience Granada’s iconic monument. The palatial city, which encompassed a medina, an alcazaba (citadel), and the palaces of various sultans, was more modest in its beginnings at the end of the 9th century AD. Initially, it appeared as a tiny fortress that went largely unnoticed until Emir Muhammad ben Al-Ahmar (1238-1272) was captivated by its strategic position and ordered the renovation and reconstruction of the ruins, as well as the expansion of the first defensive buildings, such as the Alcazaba.
The best way to delve into the history of Spain’s most visited monument is by taking a private tour of the Alhambra and Generalife with Nasrid Palaces, where an official guide can reveal all its secrets.
This private tour begins by exploring the magnificent gardens of the Generalife, the summer palace of the sultans. Next, you’ll visit the remains of the medina and the Alcazaba, the fortified area of the Alhambra built to protect the city.
The private tour of the Alhambra and Generalife can also include additional visits and a “surprise,” as there are places like the “room of the month” that are only open on a specific month.
Finally, skipping all the queues and unnecessary waiting, you’ll see the most special places with the most impressive decorations and light displays: the Nasrid Palaces—the Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, and the Palace of the Lions, which contains the Court of the Lions. Are you curious and want to learn more about the Andalusian legacy of the Alhambra? Book your private tour now of the monument declared a World Heritage Site in 1984.
